Second Street Construction Update #3

We are officially a month into the project construction and we remain on schedule with no major issues to report.  Water services will be converted to the new waterline next week and Puget Sound Energy has begun the installation process for moving the overhead utilities, which will continue next week.  The excavation of the sidewalk and roadway on the south side of the street is scheduled to begin on March 5th along with the installation of the rain gardens, landscaped planter areas, seat walls and art sculpture foundations.

Mystery Weekend Parking

Limited angled parking on Second Street will be provided starting Friday 21st through Sunday February 23rd on the south side of Second Street only from Frick Lane to the entrance of the post office.  No parking is allowed on the north side of the street.  The plan below shows the areas where parking is allowed:
